What does ContactGleaner access?
Read access to your mail and calendar, and write access to your contacts. That's it. We use Microsoft's standard sign-in — we never see or store your password.
Is my email content stored?
No. We read signature blocks to extract contact details, save the contact, and move on. Your messages stay in your mailbox.
Do contacts get added without my approval?
By default, no. Every new contact lands in a review queue first — approve, edit, or skip each one. On Personal and above you can turn on Fully Automatic: clean, unambiguous contacts are saved straight to your contacts for you. Anything uncertain still waits in your queue.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Downgrade or cancel whenever you like. Your saved contacts stay in your address book — they're yours. How you cancel depends on where you bought: refunds and cancellation.
What happens after 60 days?
New scans pause. Contacts you saved stay in Outlook, the contacts waiting for you stay in your account, and you can sign in, export your data or delete your account at any time. Upgrade and scanning resumes.
Do I pay more for annual?
No: annual is two months free, every year.
Can I use my plan on my phone?
Yes. The app sells Lite and Personal through the App Store and Google Play. Small Business and Enterprise are set up on the website.
What's a gleaner?
For centuries, a gleaner was someone who walked the fields after harvest, gathering the good grain left behind. Careful, patient work — nothing useful went to waste.
