What does ContactGleaner access?
Read access to your mail and calendar, and write access to your contacts. That's it. We use Microsoft's standard sign-in — we never see or store your password.
Is my email content stored?
No. We read signature blocks to extract contact details, save the contact, and move on. Your messages stay in your mailbox.
Do contacts get added without my approval?
By default, no. Every new contact lands in a review queue first — approve, edit, or skip each one. On paid plans you can turn on Fully Automatic: clean, unambiguous contacts are saved straight to your Outlook for you. Anything uncertain still waits in your queue.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Downgrade or cancel whenever you like. Your saved contacts stay in your Outlook address book — they're yours.
What's a gleaner?
For centuries, a gleaner was someone who walked the fields after harvest, gathering the good grain left behind. Careful, patient work — nothing useful went to waste.
